Heterocyclic Diamines:
These are represented by the general formula H2N-A-NH2. Where A represents various Heterocyclic systems. Some all the heterocyclic diamines are given below.
3-(4- Aminophenyl)- Amino Quinoline
This preparation involves 5 steps.
1. Nitration of phenyl auto nitrile with cone H2SO4 to get 4- nitro Phenyl autonitrite
2. Hydrolysis so that 4-Nitrophenyl acitic acid is got.
3. Conversion of above to 4-nitrophenylene diamine.
4. This is further condensed with MPD.
5. The Product finally reduced so that the required diamine is obtained.
