Two stage dyeing process :
Dyeing is carried out in the first place from a netural bath, and then at a later stage, the solution is made alkaline so that chemical reaction begins. This process is recommended for Procion dyes on winch, Jig or package dyeing machines.
There are several methods recommended for dyeing of reactive dyes.
These methods fall into three groups, Viz.
Bachwise dyeing methods
Semicontinuous methods
Continuous dyeing methods.
Batchwise fall into 3 catogires
(1) Cold batchwise dyeing
(2) pad-jig or winch develop
(3) Hot batchwise dyeing
